How we keep profiles genuine
No shortcuts — every step below is done by our team, not just an algorithm.
Manual profile review
Every new profile is checked by a person before it goes live. Incomplete or suspicious profiles are rejected with a reason.
Photo review
New photos are reviewed before other members can see them. Group, edited or someone else's photos are removed.
ID & selfie verification
Members can verify with a government ID and a live selfie. Verified profiles carry a badge you can trust.
Your number stays private
Contact details are never shown by default. They are shared only when YOU choose to share them.
Safety tips for members
Simple habits that protect you and your family.
Never send money, gifts or gift cards to anyone you met on the platform — no matter the story.
Never share your OTP, bank details, Aadhaar or PAN with another member.
Talk inside the app first. Move to a phone call only when you are comfortable.
Involve your family early. A genuine match will welcome it.
Meet in a public place for the first time, and tell someone where you are going.
Trust your instinct. If something feels rushed or too good to be true, step back and report.
Bihar Shaadi will never…
- ✕ask you for money, OTP or bank details on chat, call or WhatsApp.
- ✕share your phone number or photos with anyone without your action.
- ✕promise a match or a marriage in exchange for a payment.
Something feels wrong? Report it.
Use the Report option on any profile or chat in the app, or write to our team. Reports are reviewed by a person and suspicious accounts are suspended quickly.
